Record to Report (R2R) – Senior Associate to Manager

Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Record to Report (R2R) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end accounting processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Manage and execute the month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statementsEnsure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and company policiesSupport audits, SOX controls, and internal reporting requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (P2P, O2C, FP&A) to ensure data accuracy and alignmentIdentify and drive process improvements and automation initiativesSupervise and mentor junior accounting staff (for Manager level)Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5–8 years of accounting experience with solid R2R process ownershipStrong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, and reconciliationsProficient in ERP systems such as SAP or OracleExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work under deadlinesPreferred:CPA or CA certificationExperience leading month-end close or managing a small teamFamiliarity with SOX controls and audit coordinationExposure to process optimization and automation tools
