These requests include but are not limited to subpoenas, Writs of Execution, garnishments, Federal and State Tax levies, Domestic Relations ordersAnalyze legal requests to determine the required documents to support the request; interpret the purpose, entities affected, account ownership, etc. to determine the appropriate method to represent the Bank’s interest in accordance with bank policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with other departments as necessary, including but not limited to Risk Management, Loan Operations andAsset Recovery to ensure a clear understanding of documentation or accounts involved with incoming legal requestsResponsible for notifying Univest General Counsel as well as the contracted outside counsel when a new legal item is receivedWork with these teams to ensure all documentation and follow-up support for the filings is completed accurately and in a timely mannerResponsible for the review, process and quality control of research requests, including but not limited to credit references, CPA audit confirmations, asset verifications, deposits, Social Security, mortgages, Immigration letters, Date of Death Balance letters, statement, deposit and check image requests, IRS Tax Document Reprints for 1099-INT, 1099-MISC and 1098Timely recording and filing of all documents in SynergyWork with attorneys, IRS officers, law enforcement officers, government officials and customers to resolve requests in a timely fashionPerform other routine department tasks such as scanning, filing, opening & sorting mail and maintenance of documentsSupport other Deposit Operations tasks and provide backup for other team membersAssist with internal and external audit requests for documentation and support Management by providing any necessary follow-upResponsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of ConductPerform Additional Duties As Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent3+ Years of related experienceExcellent oral and written communication, showing close attention to detailAbility to work independently, using resources and problem-solving skills to fulfill requestsHighly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasksStrong understanding of how to work with and navigate various forms of technology, with the ability to complete all job duties remotely as requiredKnowledge of banking including Deposit and Loan Operations, Deposit and Loan Regulations as applicable to the position or a desire to learnExperience with Jack Henry, Synergy or equivalent banking systems, Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, Salesforce and WebEx preferredWage Range: The salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $26.63 per hourBenefits Overview:Univest offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Health Insurance: Medical, dental and vision coverage (single or family; begins the first of the month following start date)Retirement Plan: Participation in 401(k) plan with up to a 3% employer match after 6 months of employmentPaid Time Off (PTO): 15 days annually (prorated your first year)Short Term Disability: 10 days annually of sick time with a doctors note (prorated your first year)Holiday Time Off: 11 paid holidaysCommissions: paid quarterly based on individual and team productionWe offer company paid life insurance: as well as other supplemental insurancesTuition reimbursement Employee Wellness programs: including fitness club discounts and fitness tracker discounts/ annual reimbursementDiscounts: on loan productsProfessional development trainingsClick here for Benefit Information#UnivestAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
