Position SummaryAs Recruiting Lead, you will oversee day to day recruiting for LCE to ensure we have a healthy candidate pipeline across the business. You will contribute to, and lead, a small but mighty team responsible for full life-cycle recruiting ensuring we have a qualified talent pool, positive candidate experience, and build upon an award winning culture. This position works closely with the VPHR and company leadership to ensure hiring best practices, compliance, reporting and training needs are met across the organization. This position can be remote or located within an LCE office if preferred, with very occasional travel.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesStay abreast of recruiting technology, services, and best practices to effectively lead recruiting team to successfully meet hiring expectations of the businessPartner with internal management to qualify and prioritize open positions across engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, technical, and business skillsets in locations across the USFoster and support the growth of recruiting team members through coaching, feedback, and recognition. Develop and nurture employee engagement within the recruiting team, leading by example and setting clear expectations day to dayLead effective utilization and compliance within our Applicant Tracking System(JobDiva), training team members on process discipline and best practices and resolving issues that arise within the systemLeads the recruiting budget build, including the selection of resources and tools; accountable for effective utilization of recruiting programsEnsure recruiting and interviewing processes are compliant with all state and federal laws for government contractors; responsible for Affirmative Action Plans across LCEContinually source candidates and find creative ways to cultivate talent pipelines for niche skillsets via advanced internet sourcing, outreach to partner organizations or affinity groups, local networking, and use of social media to consistently meet key metrics of success Market and lead Talent Network program to drive internal mobility for employeesPerform full life-cycle recruiter functions of job posting, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiations and new hire follow-upAs a key part of the Human Resources team, contribute to other HR projects and initiatives that arise for the benefit of the employees and organizationRequired Education, Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degreeRecruiting or HR certification (such as CIR, PHR, SHRM-CP) preferredAt least five years' experience in recruiting field with demonstrated knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools, effective outreach and advanced sourcing techniques, training and complianceExperience in government contracting or staffing industry strongly preferredSelf-starter with strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork, and collaborationProven learner able to continuously improve and question status quoAbility to maintain high levels of confidentiality in all work settings and situationsPhysical Demands and Expectations:Occasional travel to support onsite meetings, job fairs, etc. (Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistanceAbility to use phone, computer systems, and other office equipmentOccasional physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs/stepstools, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds)This position description represents a summary of the major components and requirements of the outlined job.
