In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying exceptional talent for our clients across the tech sector. At ByteHire, we specialise in fast, precise, and scalable tech hiring—helping companies find the right people while optimising every stage of the recruitment process.We are looking for a motivated individual who brings a deep understanding of the tech landscape, either through hands-on experience as a recruiter in a tech environment or previous work as a software engineer.Role & Responsibilities:Identifying and engaging top technical talent through job boards, social platforms, networks, and direct sourcing strategies.Assist in conducting thorough initial screenings to assess technical experience, suitability, and cultural fit.Maintaining and updating candidate pipelines with accurate and timely information.Collaborating closely with the wider team to understand detailed role requirements and target profiles.Managing early-stage candidate communication and supporting interview coordination where needed.Providing administrative and sourcing support throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.Requirements/experience:Previous experience as a tech recruiter or professional experience as a software engineer.Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and hiring needs within the software industry.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.Proficiency with sourcing platforms and recruitment tools, such as ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and technical job boards.Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple sourcing tasks simultaneously.A proactive, self-driven work approach, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
