HSE Expert

We Are Hiring: HSE Expert (Rijeka, Croatia)📍 Location: INA Refinery, Rijeka🏢 Client: Lamor (Finland)🕒 Start: As soon as possible📅 Project Duration: 4 months up to 5 yearsOur client, Lamor, a global leader in environmental solutions and oil spill response, is looking for an experienced HSE Expert to join their team in Croatia for a long-term environmental remediation project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on an impactful international project with strong environmental and safety goals. 🛠 Your Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise all HSE activities on-site during project executionConduct daily risk assessments, toolbox talks, and job hazard analysesEnsure safe operations and compliance with Croatian HSE regulationsManage subcontractors and support workforce safetyImplement and monitor HSE procedures and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)Report and investigate incidents; compile HSE statistics and KPI reportsMaintain strong communication with all of the stakeholders (including INA and local authorities)✅ Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in industrial HSE, preferably in oil & gas or heavy industryHigher education degree in a technical or safety-related fieldProficiency in Croatian and English (written and spoken)Good knowledge of Croatian HSE laws and occupational safety regulationsExperience working with ISO standards is a strong advantage🌟 Personal Qualities: High sense of accountability and professional ethicsStrong communication skillsFlexibility and ability to adapt to field conditionsTeam-oriented mindset and good organizational skills💶 Client offers:
