The PositionThe AML Specialist will be a part of the Finance & Administration team and will report to the AML Manager.

The position's basic vision is to conduct checks and investigations as per the AML / CTF standards for the efficient identification and monitoring of suspicious betting behavior and transactions in Group OPAP and execute data validation of the winning certifications applicationsDuties And ResponsibilitiesMonitors and reviews AML / Antifraud / KYC activities delivered by the vendors (daily)Keeps up to date with the changes in the regulatory and legal framework, and assesses their impact to the AML processes and standardsDetects areas that may impact the AML system, typology and process accuracy and proposes improvements to increase compliance with the regulatory frameworkPerforms AML risk review / assessments and questionariesPrepares reports to be submitted to the relevant authorities in line with the requirements and the deadlinesPrepares the annual AML reportReviews and validates compliance with Regulatory and Corporate standardsSupports AML Manager regarding the submission to the National Betting Authority, of any material with AML & RGActs as the liaison with Corporate on Legal and Regulatory issuesMaintains records for the Safer Gambling promotion and provision of support to all teams for the accurate executionReviews and evaluates suspicious transactions and activities (daily)Prepares high-quality suspicious transaction reports for the authorities concernedPrepares material requested by OPAP Group of CompaniesResponds to ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs that are not specifically or previously described and are related to the content of current job and the personal skills and capabilitiesSkills/ Qualifications/ ExperienceBachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance/Banking, Law or equivalent business studies3-5 years of relevant working experience in a similar roleAML or related certificate will be considered an advantage.

eg CySEC AML Compliance Certificate, CySEC Advance Certificate Excellent analytical and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsEffective time management skills and strong attention to detail. Strong sense of professionalism and integrity. Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written. Excellent Computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications).
