Click Here for a Full List of our Benefits!What will I do as an employee with Redstone?As an Administrative Assistant - Human Resources, supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities: Performs customer service functions by greeting customers and answering the main department phone line responding to requests and questions. Processes mail, makes photocopies, faxes/scans documents, assists or prepares correspondence, proof documents, assemble packets, and performs other similar functions.
Utilizes the Human Resource Information System or other vendor electronic database systems to review or enter assigned data. Maintains ID badge system including creating, collecting, activating and terminating badges. Follows up with employees and supervisors for job descriptions, payroll authorization forms, position guidelines, and other documents, as needed for employee files. Maintain employee human resources files; create new employee files, remove termed employee files; file documents; organize files as needed. What do I need for this role with Redstone?An Associate's degree (A. A.
) or equivalent in human resources, business administration, management, or other related field of study from a two-year college or technical school. Six months to one year of human resources or office assistant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to use the HRIS program on the computer to maintain current employee information and produce reports. The ability to use e-mail to communicate with others internally and externally. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software for creating reports and correspondence.
