Hansen Toft A/S is seeking a Regional Director, Nordic on behalf of Simpson Strong-Tie A/SNordic responsibility with full value chain and member of the European senior leadership teamWith report to the Group EVP, responsible for the European region, you will get the full P/L responsibility for the Nordic region of Simpson Strong-Tie and management responsibility for the entire Nordic organization with 194 employees across Denmark, Norway and Sweden.You will become a member of the European senior leadership group and be responsible for executing and evaluating the Group strategy in the region.Can you manage a complex sales strategy targeting the Nordic market, combined with focus on profitability? You will get a broad range of key tasks, ranging from strategic decision making to leadership tasks as well as hands-on commercial implementations, operations and finance. Some of the following key tasks will be considered high priority:Driving and securing strategic, tactical and operational development of the Nordic region in line with the group strategy - 2030Drive market and segment initiatives covering a preferred partner position in both DIY and the OEM marketLead and develop leadership teams across the Nordic region with focus on team effort and profitability in the businessPart of the European leadership team and taking part in securing a well-functioning corporation in the divisionFocus on financial performance, goals, P&L results etc.In daily work, identify and proactively make necessary adjustments to resource allocations, operations, staffing, or plans.Industrial experience with P/L responsibility and strong commercial track recordIdeally, you have a relevant master’s degree, minimum a bachelor’s degree, in Business Management, Engineering or similar. You have experience from:An industrial company with own manufacturing, ideally within construction or building products and servicesA position including P/L responsibility, preferably as CEO, MD or BU Director for a division in a larger Group with matrix structureFurthermore, you have:Solid commercial experience and a proven sales track record, with an understanding of multi-channel businessExperience from an international organization as well as exposure to a multi-cultural environmentHaving experience with the Nordics is an advantageYou possess natural authority and are confident with challenging and improving existing practices. You are diligent and prompt to make decisions. You act as an ambassador for change initiatives and able to motivate people to embrace continuous improvement.
