With $7.2 billion in investments through to 2028–29. With over 6,800 employees and a vision of Connected communities in a sustainable, thriving, and inclusive Queensland , TMR delivers outcomes that shape the State every day.The North Coast Region spans Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, and Somerset councils and is a critical hub for transport and infrastructure development. With a projected population increase of 62% by 2046, the region is overseeing more than $7.2 billion in transport infrastructure projects through to 2028-29. This includes 73 state-controlled roads spanning 1,368 kilometres, 129 kilometres of the national land transport network, and 127 kilometres of rail.As Regional Director, you will lead the planning, delivery, and maintenance of critical transport infrastructure. You will work closely across government and TMR to deliver transformational works announced as part of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Delivery Plan. This includes interfacing with rail delivery for the new heavy passenger rail line from Beerwah to Birtinya (The Wave Stages 1 and 2) while driving major road infrastructure upgrades. You will also oversee projects such as the Bruce Highway and Mooloolah River Interchange upgrades and The Wave Stage 3 (Metro), a high-capacity service connecting Birtinya to Sunshine Coast Airport.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a multidisciplinary team to deliver transport infrastructure projects that meet the needs of a growing region.Oversee the delivery of major infrastructure projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.Provide strategic advice to the Director-General, Ministers, and senior leaders on transport priorities and challenges.Strengthen partnerships with government, industry, First Nations groups, and communities to achieve shared goals.Manage critical regional assets, including state-controlled roads, bridges, and rail infrastructure.About YouWe are seeking an experienced executive with a proven track record of leading complex transport programs, service delivery, or infrastructure portfolios.
