Rimkus is a worldwide provider of Engineering and Technical consulting to corporations, insurance companies, law firms, and government agencies. Rimkus experts specialise in Forensic consulting, Dispute resolution and Construction management services, solutions for the built environment, and human factors support for the consumer, industrial, and healthcare industries. We are seeking a Regional Director NSW to lead and expand our office, driving both business performance and team success.In this role, you will work closely with our APAC executive and technical leadership to oversee operations in this key location and to strengthen our presence.The Role: Develop and implement a cohesive regional strategy to grow and strengthen the Sydney office.Manage teams across Quantum and Delay expert and claims services, and commercial and project advisory disciplines.Foster a strong culture with a focus on professional development, team collaboration and engagement. Coach and mentor senior staff to foster growth and development.Build strong client relationships, manage conflicts, and adapt to evolving needs.Drive repeat business through exceptional service delivery.Create and execute the Regional Business Development Plan working closely with the Rimkus technical leadership. Drive new client engagements and expand Rimkus’s market presence.Our Requirements:To be considered for the role you will have the following:15+ years of industry experience, preferably with a Construction or Engineering contractor / consultancy and/or a specialist Claims consultancy.Demonstrated experience in managing teams and driving business growth within a region or organisation.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, or a similar discipline.A Construction Law degree or related comparable postgraduate qualification is highly desirable such as MSc / LLB in Construction Law and Arbitration.Active membership in at least one construction professional body and one legal professional body.Strong communication skills and an established professional network.
