Full-time DescriptionDepartment: OperationsSupervised by: Lead Director Practice OperationsSupervises: Practice Managers/Site SupervisorsEssential DutiesOversee and manage all financial aspects of assigned practices, including revenue, expenses and budget adherence.Maintain accountability for Division P&L results and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.Analyze monthly financial reports, identify trends or variances, and develop actionable plans to address them.Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives focused on operational efficiency and cost control.Monitor staffing, productivity, and operational workflows to ensure alignment with financial, budgeted and operational goals of multiple divisions.Develops, updates, and ensures compliance with appropriate departmental policies and procedure manuals for use by staff.Work in conjunction with Accounting and Finance, Lead Directors, and Lead Physicians and other Division Directors in the evaluation and development of existing and new services at the facility.Ensures that the performance benchmarks and matrix are monitored, and appropriate feedback is given to all stakeholders.Evaluates staff performance management and reviews/approves progressive disciplinary action, up to and including discharge/termination.Formulates and continually reassesses plans to reduce barriers to providing access to the highest quality patient service.Selects, coaches, and develops staff in accordance with USDH policies and procedures. Develop and mentor practice managers/supervisors to build strong leadership, operational excellence, and accountability within their teams.Ensures that all employees are given an orientation to the organization’s mission and are instilled with a passion of service excellence in how they approach their day-to-day responsibilities.Promotes the implementation of positive customer relations by the employees and physicians.Remains current in changes in the healthcare environment, such as reimbursement, legislative issues and business law, and act accordingly in the best interest of the corporation.Actively participates and attends all mandatory in-services and committee meetings.Formulates and maintains effective working relationships with peers and management and functions as an effective team member.Respects and protects the patients’ rights to confidentiality and privacy and discloses information only for professional purposes which are in the patients’ best interest with full consideration of their legal rights.Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.May perform other duties as assigned.Travel between locations in PA/DE is required on a regular basis (up to 75%).Skills, Knowledge And AbilitiesProficient in computer programs including excel and word, and prior experience with multiple EMR systems/software Strong ethical and moral character references Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal and telephone communication.Must have experience with budgeting, financial planning and reporting. Proven ability to interpret financial data, build budgets, model projections and drive operational and fiscal improvements.Must be able to develop an effective partnership with physicians Experience collaborating with physicians and multi-site operations preferred.Demonstrate ability to function as a change agent and innovator.Communicate clearly with patients and all members of the staffProven track record of excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skillsExcellent leadership skills with the ability to lead individuals and team to accomplish common goalsExperience working with clinical and administrative leadership to drive strategic/business planning and financial and operational performance.The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team; have the ability to analyze reports, determine priorities, and plan strategies; Ability to handle frequent interruptions that result in having to re-evaluate priorities, with strong initiative to get daily work finished and processedPhysical DemandsThe physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.Other DutiesPerform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances.Occupational ExposureCategory III - Exposure to Blood Bourne Pathogens/Tuberculosis is unlikely.Job LocationAs assignedRequirementsBachelor of Science in Business or Healthcare Management or commensurate experience.Master’s degree or clinical background/licensure is highly preferred.Minimum Of Five (5) Years’ Experience In Clinical Operations.Prior experience in a clinical operations management role, including supervisory experience, with fiscal responsibility in a for profit setting.
