Regional Fleet Operations Lead

A fast-growing travel and mobility company is hiring a Regional Fleet Operations Lead. ResponsibilitiesGuarantee that vehicles in the region are available for rental and managed efficiently to deliver customer satisfaction at the expected cost.Ensure damage identification and registration are performed accurately and aligned with central guidelines, attributing damages correctly to responsible customers.Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime and repair costs.Expand and maintain the fleet supplier network, ensuring sufficient coverage and high-quality standards.Drive KPIs across unavailability, maintenance costs, supplier performance, and loss ratio.Lead regional cross-functional projects such as infleet and defleet operations, ensuring timely vehicle arrivals and readiness for seasonal peaks.Manage feedback between central and regional leadership, asset analysts, and RFAs.Ensure the team achieves performance targets, including unavailability, supplier network quality, maintenance cost control, and local database accuracy.Build, train, and lead a high-performing team of Asset Analysts, ensuring operational readiness for peak periods. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Strong experience in e-commerce, FinTech, mobility, or platform ecosystems (eg. Ride-hailing , travel-tech, online retail platform), with exposure to fast-scaling, technology-driven operations.6–8 years of experience in fleet, asset, or operations management within a fast-paced environment.2–5 years of people management experience.Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop teams with strong adherence to SOPs.Strong analytical mindset and KPI-driven decision-making.Experience in process improvement, maintenance cost optimization, and supplier management.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both executive leadership and frontline teams.Fluency in English (additional regional language a plus).Proficiency with data dashboards and analytical tools (e.g., Metabase, Airtable, SQL) preferred.Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.What’s in it for you?Fast-paced, scale-up environmentCareer growth and leadership opportunitiesCollaborative and entrepreneurial culture
