If that’s you, we want to hear from you!We are currently seeking a suitably qualified professional to join the Sales & Distribution Department. The role reports to the Director, Sales & Distribution and has direct oversight of the General Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Channel Managers, Distribution Managers, and Regional Field Operations. The position also maintains strong cross-functional alignment across Finance, Marketing, and Operations.The Regional General Manager is the P&L owner and serves as the company’s representative within the region. This role is responsible for translating national strategy into strong local market execution, driving revenue growth, distribution effectiveness, customer experience, network performance, and key stakeholder relationships.Key responsibilitiesRevenue, Growth & Commercial Execution1.Deliver all regional revenue targets across Consumer, MFS, B2B and Devices2.Drive new customer usage, ARPU, MFS activity and customer retention3.Ensure full execution of national pricing, promotions and product launches4.Identify and exploit local growth opportunitiesDistribution & Sales Leadership1.Own all sales and distribution channels in the region:DealersAgentsRetail storesCorporate and enterprise sales2.Ensure strong market coverage, branding, stock and sales capability3.Drive productivity per outlet, agent and sales repStakeholder & Government Management1.Act as Digicel’s primary representative in the region2.Manage relationships with:Provincial and local governmentsRegulators and authoritiesLandowners and community leadersKey corporate and institutional customers3.Resolve disputes and protect Digicel’s license to operate4.Ensure local alignment with national regulatory and compliance requirementsNetwork, Sites & Technical Coordination1.Be accountable for network and site performance in the region2.Work with Technical and Network teams to:Maintain uptime and service qualityPrioritize site upgrades and expansionsResolve outages and chronic performance issues3.Manage stakeholder issues related to:Towers and land accessPower, security and vandalismCommunity concerns around sites4.Ensure sites support commercial growth plans Customer Experience1.Ensure customer care and field support deliver required service levels2.Drive fast resolution of escalations, complaints and outages3.Protect Digicel’s brand and trust in the regionPeople & Performance1.Build, lead and hold accountable all regional teams2.Recruit, coach and remove as required3.Create a high-performance, results-driven cultureGovernance, Compliance & Control1.Ensure full compliance with:Commercial policiesKYC Compliance requirementsRegulatory and license obligations2.Prevent revenue leakage, fraud and commission abuse3.Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and risk escalationAcademic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:8–12+ years in telecom, FMCG or commercial servicesStrong background in sales, distribution and field operationsExperience working with government, regulators and communitiesExposure to network operations and site management in telco environmentsProven ability to run large, multi-disciplinary regional teamsStrong leader with high personal credibilityCommercially sharp and execution drivenPolitically and culturally astuteComfortable managing conflict and complexityHigh integrity and resilienceIf this opportunity sounds like a perfect fit for you, we encourage you to apply!Should you not receive any feedback within two weeks, please note your application has not progressed further.Applications close on 12 March 2026
