This high-impact role sits in senior leadership teams, aligning people strategies with business goals and driving meaningful transformation across markets.Key HighlightsStrategic seat at sub-regional leadership tablesFull ownership of the People function across countriesInfluence high-growth markets and drive regional transformationLead initiatives across Talent, Culture, Rewards, and ChangeRepresent the company externally across APACKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR LeadershipJoin sub-regional leadership teams to embed HR in major decisionsAct as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people strategyDevelop and execute tailored people strategies aligned with business growthTalent & Culture EnablementLead all HR disciplines: Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Culture, Employee ExperienceDrive performance and succession planning to strengthen leadership pipelinesConduct learning needs assessments and implement development programsGuide organizational transitions and cultural shiftsProjects & Brand RepresentationLead key HR projects spanning global, regional, and local needs Strengthen and embed company culture across sub-region teamsServe as a brand ambassador at industry events and external engagementsThis is a rare opportunity to shape people strategy at a regional level within a high-performing global organization.QualificationsNative / Fluent Japanese language skills and permission to work in Japan requiredBachelor’s degree or aboveBusiness level English10-15+ years relevant HR experienceGood stakeholder management skillsStrong business acumenStrong facilitation, consulting, relationship-building, influence, negotiation skills, and project management skillsStrong communication skillsGood business acumenGood PC skills〈Welcome〉Life sciences industry experience a plus (but not required)Experience with regional HR roles a plus!Trilingual capability welcome!
