One of the Cayman Islands leading financial services institutions if looking to add an experienced Human Resources professional to lead their regional Caribbean HR operations. The role is based in Cayman and will lead key strategic HR invites across the regional with the full support of the Senior leadership. This role has HR BP responsibilities, and responsibility for policies, procedures and handbooks for their jurisdiction, ensuring best practise and consistency, as well as providing expert advice on employee relations mattersKey duties:Partner with the Managing Directors and management teams to translate business strategy into HR priorities and actionable goals.Assist with organisational design and subsequent restructuring and organisational changes.Effectively manage any HR issues such as disciplinary, grievance procedures and dismissals to minimise internal and external reputational risk.In conjunction with the Reward & Recognition team, manage the compensation processes for the Caribbean locationsWork with the senior management teams in the annual appraisal and performance review.Work in partnership with the senior leadership to support business growth through talent acquisition, talent identification, professional development, and succession planning processes.Develop positive & productive working relationships with managers and Directors as required, providing advice and guidance to managers and business heads in response to HR procedural / policy issuesProvide assistance with delivery of ongoing business performance improvements and ensure that any HR intervention reinforces the firms brand, high performance culture, and commerciality.Maintain a detailed awareness of regulatory & legal requirements and group strategies to ensure that appropriate HR policies are in place and are adhered to by the business across the Caribbean Essential requirements:Caymanian, Caymanian Status Holders, RERC or Permanent Residents only for this role - a work permit is not offered in this position Proven HR experience with a strong knowledge of the Cayman Islands Labour Laws Ability to work with minimal supervision - the firm is looking for an HR leader who can really help build & develop strong HR polices across the region Experience covering multiple jurisdictions is highly advantageous 8+ years of experience with experience in a Management role Financial Services and / or Legal experience is preferred On offer:An excellent salary and benefits package - with the variable compensation being particularly impressive Work with a rapidly expanding organization with expansion plans on island Join a high performance and high reward business Excellent career progression opportunities - there is scope for this to grow into a C Suite position within the firms Human Capital in the coming years Cover thriving regional offices with support from a global HR Function Great role, don't hesitate to reach out if you want to know more.
