Familiarity with regional consumer behavior in gaming is essential.Language: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (minimum B2+ level) - able to communicate effectively in both languages, including preparing reports and presentationsIndustry Experience: 3+ years of experience in the iGaming industry (mandatory), preferably in a business development, country manager, or regional operations role. A strong understanding of the Mexican iGaming market and its player base is requiredBusiness Development Skills: Proven track record in forging partnerships and driving market initiatives. Demonstrable experience managing affiliate programs, negotiating with payment providers, and launching local marketing or brand campaigns is expected. You should be adept at identifying growth opportunities and executing plans that deliver results.Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Mexico’s licensing environment and operational compliance. You understand the local gambling regulations and what it takes to operate a licensed online gaming business in Mexico (e.g. working with a local license holder and adhering to Secretaría de Gobernación requirements). Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes, responsible gaming, and AML/KYC in Mexico is essenti_alResponsibilities:Optimize User Acquisition Funnel: Test and continuously optimize the entire user acquisition funnel – from registration through first deposit and withdrawal – to ensure a seamless, conversion-driven user journey with minimal drop-off at each stageLocal Payments Integration: Research and integrate local payment solutions that are popular and compliant with Mexico’s regulations. Ensure smooth deposit and withdrawal experiences by supporting methods like OXXO Pay, SPEI, CoDi, as well as local e-wallets and card processors in MXNWork closely with compliance teams to ensure all payment service providers (PSPs) meet MX license requirements and AML/KYC standards.Partnership Development: Identify and manage strategic partnerships to drive user acquisition and brand growth. This includes building relationships with local affiliates, marketing agencies, and influencers who cater to the Mexican audience. Leverage your network and understanding of Mexico’s market to onboard high-value affiliate partners and negotiate deals that increase traffic and visibility. Maintain ongoing management of these partners to maximize performance.Brand Visibility & Local Marketing: Execute brand visibility initiatives tailored to Mexico. Plan and oversee local marketing campaigns, sponsorships (e.g. sports teams or events), and offline events to boost brand awareness and user engagement in the region. Coordinate any on-the-ground activations, such as event sponsorships or community meet-ups, to strengthen the brand’s presence.Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional projects between the Mexico operations and headquarters teams. Work closely with departments (product, marketing, compliance, etc.) and local stakeholders to align product offerings, promotions, and customer service with local preferences and regulatory requirements., Serve as the bridge between local partners or vendors and internal teams, ensuring timely execution of Mexico-specific initiatives and smooth communication across all involved parties.Performance Reporting & Compliance: Report on performance, market trends, and compliance status regularly. Monitor key KPIs (acquisition, conversion, retention, revenue) and provide weekly/monthly reports to leadership. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Mexican market – including competitor moves and regulatory changes – and advise on adjustments to strategy accordingly.
