We are representing a world-leading luxury brand renowned for its exceptional portfolio across beauty, fragrance, and skincare. The company is seeking a Regional Market Development & Performance Manager to lead growth and execution across key markets in the Gulf and Levant.This role is pivotal in driving commercial performance, strengthening market presence, and ensuring operational excellence through close collaboration with distribution partners. Acting as the bridge between regional distributors and internal global teams, you will guide market strategies, influence business outcomes, and ensure the brand’s standards of excellence are upheld in every channel.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Business DevelopmentLead the commercial planning, business analysis, and performance management across assigned regional markets.Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to accelerate brand growth, optimize distribution, and enhance visibility.Develop, implement, and monitor annual business and marketing plans in collaboration with distributor partners.Ensure alignment between local market needs and global brand strategy, adjusting plans where necessary to drive success.Performance Management & ForecastingOwn the regional sales forecasts, targets, and performance dashboards in partnership with distributors.Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, analyze business trends, and deliver actionable insights to management.Propose corrective actions to improve performance across underdeveloped or emerging markets.Oversee key performance indicators related to stock levels, service rates, and order fulfilment.Distributor Relationship ManagementBuild and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with distributor and retail partners.Serve as the central point of contact between local distributors and internal functions including marketing, finance, education, and supply chain.Negotiate commercial terms, trade investments, and promotional activities to ensure alignment with brand and financial objectives.Ensure brand consistency and excellence in execution across all markets.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with regional marketing, training, and operations teams to implement activation plans, events, and campaigns.Contribute to product launch readiness, retail activation, and marketing calendar coordination across all markets.Support education and training initiatives to elevate retail experience and strengthen brand representation.Strategic ProjectsParticipate in the development of long-term market expansion strategies and business transformation projects.Conduct regular competitive reviews, consumer insights analysis, and market benchmarking to maintain a leading market position.Drive continuous improvement across distributor processes and reporting standards.Profile & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial, sales, or market development role within beauty, luxury, or premium FMCG industries.Proven success in managing distributor-led markets and achieving growth in multi-country portfolios.Strong understanding of the Gulf and Levant retail landscape, with established market insights and networks.Arabic language proficiency is mandatory, with excellent English communication and presentation skills.Commercially driven, analytically minded, and highly organized with strong negotiation skills.A collaborative leader with cultural agility, professionalism, and an entrepreneurial spirit.Willingness to travel across the region when required.
