It plays a critical role in driving regional growth by aligning marketing initiatives with commercial objectives, in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Directors and sales teams. The role includes people management responsibilities, overseeing the two Regional Marketing Specialists located in India.Develop and execute targeted, defined and measurable regional marketing plans that align with business objectives and drive growthManage both Regional Marketing Specialist MEA and Regional Marketing Specialist APAC, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure successful execution of regional marketing initiatives across regionsLead the development and execution of Channel Marketing strategies, enabling agents and distributors to maximize market impactEnsure local compliance with brand guidelines; Train regions and sites to ensure appropriate brand deployment.Create regional content including customer testimonials and case studies that support the regional marketing planCoordinate and support approved regional trade shows and other customer events ensuring alignment with global marketing strategies and standardsProvide market intelligence from the regional perspective, including analysis and Voice of Customer input. Gather, synthesize, and provide market analysis and intelligence from the field to global MarketingParticipate in ad hoc requests for various initiatives, including new product launches, site openings and M&A activities, contributing marketing expertise and regional insightsConsolidate regional feedback, assess campaign performance and demand generation, and provide regional market insights back to global marketingLead the development, customization, and execution of John Crane’s marketing strategy for MEA & APAC regions, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local business prioritiesServe as the primary marketing contact for the MEA & APAC sales organization, reporting directly to the ‘Sr Regional Marketing Manager’ and collaborating closely with the Regional Sales Directors and sales teams in both regionsDrive Channel Marketing initiatives by equipping agents and distributors with localized tools, campaigns, and strategic support to enhance partner engagement and performanceProvide strategic marketing direction for the region, supporting demand generation, new product launches, and vertical marketing initiatives to drive market share growthOperate with a high level of autonomy, demonstrating strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to influence both regional and global stakeholdersDevelop and implement marketing programs tailored to both MEA & APAC regions, ensuring consistency with global strategies and responsiveness to local business needsManage two Regional Marketing Specialists, ensuring strategic alignment, clear goals, and strong execution through coaching and developmentCollaborate across Marcomms, Channel, Digital, Performance, and Sales Enablement to ensure cohesive execution of initiativesSupport global teams with localized content and work with strategic marketing and portfolio teams to identify regional portfolio gaps. Contribute to the development of white papers, case studies, and sales toolsExecute regional marketing campaigns and brand-building activities, including regional content development, tradeshows, technical seminars, lead management, and customer retention programsManage the application of brand strategy and design guidelines in the region. Collaborate with the Brand Identity and Events Manager to ensure consistent and compliant use of brand assetsContribute to a collaborative and high-performing global marketing team, with the opportunity to shape regional strategy, influence global initiatives, and make a measurable impact on business growthQualificationsMin 8 years’ Experience as a Marketing Generalist/ManagerProven people management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members effectivelyStrong strategic thinking and planning skills with ability to plan over 3-year time spanExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work cross-functionally in dynamic and flexible environmentBachelor's degree ideally in business/marketingDemonstrated track record of executing marketing plans, preferably in an industrial B2B environment, and be comfortable interfacing with internal/externalMust have the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and flexible environment.Proficiency in CRM tools (preferable SAP C4C) and lead management processMust have a high degree of written and verbal communication and presentation skills in EnglishAdditional informationWith colleagues stretching across the globe, we are proud of our diversity.
