DescriptionHybrid: Must be on site at a Phoenix location that is most convenient to candidate's residence 3 days per week - 2 days remotePay Range: Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be discussed at a later stageCommunity Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Regional Operations Director. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Regional Operations Director will lead the transformation and optimization of our behavioral health services across multiple facilities. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll drive operational excellence, implement innovative solutions, and directly influence the quality of care for thousands of patients while managing multi-million dollar P&L responsibilities.As a key member of our senior leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our operations, mentor emerging leaders, and establish best practices that will become the standard across our organization. excellence across assigned facilities by developing and implementing scalable processes that improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes Own P&L responsibility for multiple locations with service delivery Team Development & ManagementBuild and lead a high-performing team of Clinic Coordinators, Regional Nursing Managers, and support staff across multiple locations Create talent effective coaching, performance management, and recognition programs Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure 100% compliance with CARF, state, federal, and RBHA requirements through systematic monitoring and proactive risk management Partner with quality management teams to achieve and exceed clinical outcome targets and patient satisfaction scores Stakeholder EngagementRepresent the organization at state and federal agency meetings, building strategic relationships with regulators, payors, and community partners Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and market expansionRequirementsEducation, Certification and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field 7+ years of progressive multi-site healthcare operations management experience Demonstrated success managing P&L responsibilities of $5M+ with proven ability to drive revenue growth and margin improvement Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, including CARF accreditation standards Proven ability to lead teams of 50+ employees across multiple locations Willingness to travel 40-50% within assigned region Preferred QualificationsExperience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment settings Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management (PMP) Experience with electronic health records and healthcare analytics platforms Tools And Equipment RequirementsThe ability to use a phone, computer, printer, and copier is required.Frequent use of Microsoft office products, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.The ability to use the internet and various web
