This role ensures Emesent achieves its business objectives through new business acquisition, strategic account development, and strengthening client relationships. You’ll work closely with global management, commercial, product, and operations teams to shape and execute regional strategies.Key ResponbilitiesKey ResponbilitiesSales Leadership & StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aligned with Emesent’s objectives, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitabilityLead, mentor, and motivate the APAC sales team, including internal staff and external partners, fostering a high-performance cultureDrive the capture and expansion of Emesent’s business with strategic accountsManage the APAC region sales pipeline to support budgets and rolling forecastsMarket Analysis & ExpansionConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored market entry plans, including product localization, pricing models, and sales tacticsPartnership DevelopmentSource, onboard, and manage reseller partners across the APAC regionEstablish, nurture, and grow strong relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholdersIdentify collaboration opportunities to accelerate market penetration and growthSales Performance & ForecastingDevelop, monitor, and report on KPIs to track sales team performance and regional revenue targetsProvide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on sales data and market trendsPrepare and manage annual sales revenue budgets in alignment with Emesent’s financial objectivesClient EngagementMaintain strong client relationships, ensuring consistent and meaningful engagementAct as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring issues are communicated and resolved efficientlyFrequently engage with clients in the region, with travel as requiredPersonal AttributesStrong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligenceCollaborative mindset and ability to work across diverse global teamsResilient, adaptable, and able to lead change in dynamic environmentsStrategic thinker with a problem-solving approach that considers long-term impactOpen, engaging, and capable of building trust with stakeholders at all levelsWhat You’ll BringExperience in sales/business development in a technical industry, preferably Mining, Industrial Infrastructure, or Underground InfrastructureProven success in strategic account planning, development, and captureDemonstrated ability to effectively engage with engineers or a technical backgroundStrong leadership, communication, and presentation skillsTrack record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targetsExperience managing high-performing teams, including coaching and mentoring sales staffSignificant interest in industrial innovation and technologies, with the ability to communicate and identify new opportunities for application of the technologyDemonstrated client relationship management experience and use of a CRM to manage clients and track deals through the pipelineStrong understanding of the industry and competitor trendsWillingness to travel domestically and internationallyDesirable Experience And SkillsExperience taking new and technologically advanced products to marketBackground in Mining, Surveying, GIS, or asset managementExperience with drones, LiDAR, or other mapping/GIS technologiesExperience with mapping/GIS or other relevant software tools for manipulating 3D spatial data to generate derived data productsPerks & BenefitsWork alongside a friendly and passionate team on cutting-edge technologyTake advantage of genuine learning and development opportunitiesAccess to the LinkedIn Learning platformEmployee Assistance Program and Qoctor online telehealthEnjoy a great work environment and facilitiesCasual dress code and flexible workingOne full day of leave each year for work anniversariesWho We AreEmesent is a world-leader in drone autonomy, LIDAR mapping, and data analytics.
