Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling Curry Supply products and/or related services. Personally contact and secure new business account/customers. The ideal candidate excels at managing their sales funnel from identifying to closing prospects. You will also be responsible for determining long-term sales strategy and act as the primary contact for clients, customer adoption, and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand client goals and objectivesBuild professional relationships with current customers and prospective customers within the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization's products and services.Excellent leadership and communication skillsBecome a product expertEffectively negotiates with executive level and senior management at various levels, top level of professionalism at all times,Driven and highly self-motivated to be the best.Ability to forecast market trends in many industries in 1-3 year.Ability to present in front of small and large groups both internally and with clients.Comfortable presenting using video conference when applicable.Adept at time management and able to work with finite deadlines.The ability to work independently as well as a group environment.Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.Participate in trade shows and conventions.Continually learn about new products and improve selling skills.Ability to travel 30-40 percent or as needed.Must have valid driver's license.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years of experience in a quota carrying role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Experience using CRM Program. Strong industry knowledge preferred.Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and the ability to persuade others, visual and auditory skills; exceptional organizational skills focusing on small details, customer service skills, ability to effectively communicate and work well with others in order to manage projects, meetings, and client needs; ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing 50 lbs. or less. Must have proficient computer skills and knowledge of technology, office equipment, computers, and various programs including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and the ability to effectively work on spreadsheets, word processing, networking and email programs
