The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional sales growth in ophthalmic solutions, including devices and software, sold to Private Practices, Public Hospitals, and Clinical Networks.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic plans to grow the business and gain market share in assigned territoriesBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local KOLs, clinics, purchasing groups, and C-level executivesHit and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving market development activitiesRecruit Market Leaders, KOLs, and influencers to promote solutions and educate the scientific communityAdminister and implement individual business plans for each territory, including monitoring and analyzing business strategies to provide growthOversee and improve marketing activities, provide recommendations, and ensure alignment with business goalsManage company relationships with partners, such as vendors, suppliers, and KOLsTrain and guide clinical staff members on product and solution useMonitor international business transactions and address potential challenges proactivelyReport on and analyze competitors' activities, pricing strategies, and the impact of their products and servicesDesign pricing strategies that align with customer budgets and procurement processesCoordinate with the management team, maintain budgets, and participate in regular team conferencesEvaluate market trends and support product introduction plansRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience promoting and selling ophthalmology software solutionsProven track record in opening new markets and managing distribution networksIdeally a university degree, a degree in life sciences is a plusEstablished network & relationships within the ophthalmology marketExtended knowledge of business dynamics, strategies, and regulations within the US marketFamiliarity with CRM and business suite software solutions (hubspot / salesforce)Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targetsStrong marketing skills to research new markets and apply effective sales techniquesExceptional written and verbal English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)Ability to analyze and improve business strategies, and develop growth-oriented plansEstablished relationships with key local stakeholders, including KOLs, clinics, and purchasing groupsEntrepreneurial and collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solvingCapability to train and guide clinical staff members in using our solutionExperience in developing and implementing pricing strategies aligned with client budgetsBenefitsA chance to be part of an exceptional team driving innovation in healthcareA competitive salary in a supportive work environment that fosters work-life balanceOpportunities for professional growth and development in an international settingA culture of collaboration and inclusion, which is fundamental to our ethosOccasional travel to our HQ in Switzerland, immersing you in our core operations and company culture
