Apply now to make a difference!As a Regulatory Compliance and Audit Officer with the Office of the Queensland Integrity Commissioner, you will play a key role in promoting integrity, accountability, and transparency across Queensland.Based in Brisbane, this permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective regulation of lobbying activities and ensure compliance with legislative requirements. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of our compliance and audit programs, helping to build public confidence in Queensland's public institutions and officeholders.How You'll ContributeIn this role, you will:Develop, implement, and maintain a quality assurance framework to monitor compliance with regulatory obligations.Provide advice and guidance to registered lobbyists on compliance requirements, including delivering training and creating resources such as factsheets.Work collaboratively with the Queensland Lobbying Registrar and legal team to address non-compliance and provide operational support, including processing registrations and updates to the Queensland Lobbying Register.Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including registered lobbyists and government agencies, to ensure the efficient delivery of compliance and audit processes.Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compliance and audit practices.What You'll Bring To The RoleTo succeed in this role, you will bring:Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and analyse data to make informed recommendations for compliance actions.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in a government or regulatory environment, with proficiency in using data management systems and tools.A commitment to upholding high standards of governance, accountability, and professionalism.A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.This role offers a supportive and flexible working environment, competitive salary and benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Queensland's public sector integrity.
