Regulatory Compliance Manager (Urgent)On-site, based in Bangkok (BTS line)The Company:Chronos Consulting is part of the Coberon Chronos Group, an award-winning global leader in permanent and temporary staffing, RPO, and business process automation solutions for global multinationals. The Group owns and operates 52 offices worldwide.Chronos Consulting’s client is a Payment service company.This role focuses on supporting and managing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) processes for a global payment partner operating in Thailand.Job Responsibilities:Lead and manage complex regulatory projects from initiation through closing, ensuring on-time delivery, scope adherence, and effective resource allocation.Define project governance, develop comprehensive project plans, and track progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.Oversee cross-functional teams (Legal, Technology, Business, Compliance) to successfully implement new banking/payment regulations.Act as a primary point of contact and build robust, professional relationships with key regulatory authorities and government bodies.Coordinate and prepare responses for regulatory inquiries, examinations, and reporting requirements.Proactively monitor the regulatory landscape for changes and developments, assessing their impact on the business.Provide expert guidance on the practical application of new and evolving regulations (beyond routine Compliance/AML Operations).Translate regulatory obligations into actionable business and technical requirements for project implementation.Ensure all project deliverables meet legal and regulatory compliance standards.Qualifications: Experience: 8–10 years of progressive experience within the banking, financial services, or payments industry.Project Leadership: Mandatory and demonstrated experience leading and driving complex projects. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to team-member execution will not be a suitable fit.Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing the financial and payment sectors (e.g., consumer protection, licensing, AML/KYC, data privacy, payment systems regulation).Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a track record of successfully managing relationships with external regulatory authorities.Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field. Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant compliance certifications (e.g., ACAMS) are a plus.Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
