Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are currently hiring a German speaking Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support the development of a new, future-oriented financial institution. This position offers the opportunity to help build modern governance, risk, and compliance structures from the ground up. Candidates who enjoy taking responsibility, working in a dynamic environment, and actively contributing to the evolution of financial services will find this role well suited.Responsibilities & Tasks:Establish and further develop a comprehensive compliance and risk management frameworkMonitor regulatory adherence and prepare regular reports for senior decision-making bodiesCoordinate and organise meetings for governing committeesReview and update internal policies, guidelines, and operational processesSupport the development of tools and systems that ensure efficient regulatory oversightAdvance risk management methodologies and contribute to the internal control systemAssist in preparing documentation and structures required for regulatory approval proceduresRequirements & Qualifications:Completed degree in business, law, or a related field, or further education in risk management or complianceStrong interest in financial-sector topics and compliance-related functionsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements for financial institutionsAbility to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and structured problem-solvingStrong analytical abilities combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approachTeam-oriented mindset with clear communication skillsExcellent German and English language skills; additional language skills are an advantageBenefits & Culture:You will join a collaborative environment that values initiative, open communication, and cross-functional teamwork.
