At Alpha Bank we are shaping the future of banking in Greece.Through our large-scale Transformation Program, we are changing the way we operate, the way we deliver results and the way we service our Customers.We understand our Customers’ needs and design experiences around them.We work in partnership and invite diversity of skills and perspectives.We are forward-thinking and drive continuous improvement.We make things happen; we execute quickly and focus on what is essential.If you are a change enthusiast who sets ambitious goals and works with a sense of purpose, we want to get to know you!Join our team #AlphaBank#WeAreAlpha #EnablingProgress #AlphaCulture #ValuesThatLead #OneTeamOnePurposePurposeAs a Regulatory Requirements Specialist, you will calculate and analyze capital requirements, capital adequacy, and leverage ratios at Alpha Bank and Group level, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to supervisory authorities.What You Will Be DoingUnderstand the regulatory framework as defined in the Capital Requirements Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 (CRR) and involved in the calculation of Risk Weighted Assets (RWAs) under Pillar I frameworkStay updated on EBA/ECB guidelines and regulatory developmentsExamine regulatory changes and developments (CRR, Basel IV, BCBS) related to capital management, monitoring and reportingCollect data and information, ensuring respective consistency and completenessPrepare Common Reporting (COREP) and other relevant comprehensive reporting as well as understand and develop reporting requirements in the context of the Credit and Counterparty Credit Risk, Securitisation Risk, Large Exposures and Leverage RatioIdentification of potential process impovements and capabilities to increase consistency, transparency, and reliability of RWAs calculation, governance, and controls processExecute a series of operational support tasks (e.g. communication with external and internal collaborators, setting up meetings, following up on deliverables)Prepare and update reports, presentations, dashboards and other data with key insights to be presented to the competent Committees of the Bank, using analytical and visualization tools (e.g. SAS, Excel, QlikView)What You Need To HaveBachelor’s degree in in a quantitative field of study (e.g. Risk Management, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or Business) or in any other related discipline (a Master Degree will be considered a plus)A minimum of two years’ experience in regulatory compliance or prudential reporting in banking or or in a major consulting firmDemonstrated experience in at least one or more of the following indicative regulatory reports will be considered an asset: FINREP, COREP and EBA Stress TestsFamiliarity with big data analysis supported by experience in data analysis and reporting (Microsoft SQL, SPSS) will be considered an assetStrong analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency in MS Office and regulatory reporting toolsExcellent communication skills in Greek and EnglishCollaborative, organized, and proactive working styleWhat We OfferIt’s all about our people.
