As a Regulatory Support Officer in the Compliance Team, you’ll help keep Queensland’s early childhood services safe and high-quality. Find out more about working with us .Your RoleAs the Regulatory Support Officer, you will:Provide administrative, records management and procedural support to the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority in the application of early childhood education and care (ECEC) legislation.Liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including ECEC providers and services, to support the achievement of regulatory initiatives.Responsibilities IncludeActing as the first point of contact, monitoring and following up on regulatory matters and prioritising work according to risk.Implementing administrative procedures to ensure efficient intake and progression of regulatory matters in accordance with the ECEC legislation and principles of good administrative decision making, including processing financial transactions, such as application and annual fees, as required.Monitoring, processing, validating applications as required, tracking and escalating matters according to risk.Coordinating team workflow using regulatory systems and databases, ensuring correct data capture and review.Providing support in the maintenance of records, and regulatory and records management systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with information management requirements.Responding appropriately to all stakeholder queries with accurate information in a timely manner.Participating in initiatives to improve regulatory processes and achieve regulatory objectives.Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, reports, briefs and other documentation in a timely manner while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
