What is the role? As a reinsurance summer intern, you will be exposed to the world of reinsurance broking and its role in protecting businesses and communities worldwide. You’ll gain exposure to the Broking, Legal and Analytics Cat Modelling teams in Bermuda. What you’ll do Support brokers on live reinsurance placements and renewals. Assist with the preparation of market submissions, slips, and client presentations. Work with analytical and catastrophe modelling outputs to better understand pricing and reinsurance structures. Develop an understanding of how tailored reinsurance solutions are designed and delivered. Gain exposure to the Bermuda reinsurance market and insight into reinsurance broking and client interactions. What are we looking for? Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an undergraduate program from a 4-year institution Bermudian Citizenship or Permanent Residence A keen curiosity to learn more about reinsurance. Strong sense of initiative and ability to drive results through problem solving and self-motivation. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships. Ability to adjust to changing priorities, managing multiple tasks and delivering high quality work.
