Job Title: Release Manager – Cloud MigrationLocation: Atlanta, GAJob Type: Full Time with BenefitsKey ResponsibilitiesRelease Planning: Define and manage release schedules aligned with cloud migration milestones.Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between engineering, operations, business units, and leadership to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely updates on release status, risks, and impacts.Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure readiness and smooth execution of releases.Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks, manage change control processes, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.Automation & CI/CD: Support automation initiatives and continuous delivery practices to streamline cloud deployments.Monitoring & Reporting: Track release metrics, post-release outcomes, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Documentation: Maintain detailed release notes, rollback procedures, and deployment guides.Required Skills & Experience8-12 years of IT experience with 5+ years in Release/Deployment Management in application migration programs.Strong understanding of application migration approaches (re-host, re-platform, re-deploy) and workload dependencies.exposer with AWS services relevant to app migration: Compute: EC2, Lambda, EKS/ECSProven ability to cut across silos (app, infra, IAM, DevOps, security) and enforce migration readiness before releases.Strong troubleshooting skills in application deployment and AWS environment cutovers.Exposer on Scaled agile frameworkGood to HaveAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional or DevOps Engineer.Familiarity with application performance testing and workload assessment frameworks.Prior experience in regulated industries (banking, insurance, healthcare).Life at Capgemini:Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
