That includes:Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate Conduct external and internal security patrolsProvide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as requiredCarry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties Issue visitor/contractors passesPlease note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role.
