Expats In Wonderland GmbH is hiring a relocation assistant to join our team, delivering global mobility solutions to expats moving to Germany.The role is for a key member of our small team to deliver a smooth transition to our clients with exceptional warmth and professionalism, while navigating administrative processes.This is not a remote position, and team members are required to be physically present at our office in Berlin, Mitte, and also be available for occasional appointments at government offices in Berlin to accompany clients in person. ResponsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for relocation clients, providing them with proactive guidance through their relocation process.Create a detailed map of relocation needs, and coordinate with management and external lawyers to define immigration processes.Prepare and file documentation for the authorities, with exceptional attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy. Attend appointments acting as both interpreter (German speaking) and customer support in official appointments.Accurately track client records on CRM systems using case notes and pipelines.Escalate and manage customer service issues intuitively with management.Participate in team meetings, brainstorming and implementing new workflows to improve and document processes.Assist in temporary accommodation search, acting as liaison between clients and housing providers.Some support with general office administrative tasks.Your ProfileAt least 1 year of experience in a high volume, customer facing role.Fluent in both English (Near native level) and German (C1+) - other languages a plus.Calm, kind and effective communication skills dealing with a broad demographic of international clients.Exceptional attention to detail in administrative work. Demonstrable experience in relocation, HR, para-legal or customer service roles.Strong technological skills - confident working with CRM systems, Google Apps & AI LLMs.Maintain calm under pressure, and operate quickly and efficiently.A relevant bachelors university degree or vocational training is preferred.Personal experience of relocation is a major plus.Sociable and multi-cultural - you love meeting new people from all over the world!What We OfferFull-time position (40hrs per week) as part of a small, closely knit team.Female led & family-run business with a flexible management structure.Discover the joy of relocation - helping people start new chapters in their lives - it's truly rewarding!Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.Opportunities for professional growth & specialised trainingBVG card and Urban Sports Club (Small) membership.Opportunity to participate in and organise both team and client social events.Cosy office in Berlin, Mitte (Hackescher Markt / Weinmeisterstraße U-Bahn)
