This is a virtual, customer-facing role requiring strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently in a fully remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct client interactions via video and virtual collaboration tools with professionalism and confidence.Manage multiple client accounts and deliver accurate bookkeeping services within established deadlines.Review and process financial transactions in accordance with client service agreements.Troubleshoot and resolve complex bookkeeping issues, including:Financial statement errorsChart of accounts cleanupSales tax discrepanciesUnreconciled A/P or A/RPayroll or merchant services issuesPrepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers.Maintain organized client documentation and ensure timely follow-up.Research accounting regulations as needed to support client inquiries.Collaborate across internal service lines as needed-flexibility to pivot between related services is key.Must-Have Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.1+ year of QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience.Possess QuickBooks Online Pro Certification (or must obtain prior to start). Hiring Manager will provide directions on how to complete certification following a satisfactory score on the assessment.Proven ability to evaluate and resolve complex bookkeeping challenges.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service orientation required. This role involves live video calls with customers.Reliable high-speed internet connection (DSL, cable, or fiber).Availability: Part-time or full-time (minimum 27 hours per week).Must be located in the United States and willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours (non-negotiable).Interview & Evaluation ProcessQualified candidates must be willing to:Participate in a video interview (via Zoom or Microsoft Teams).Complete a QuickBooks and/or bookkeeping skills assessment as part of the evaluation process.Furnish professional references upon request.All interviews are conducted directly by Vaco/Highspring, the hiring manager for this engagement.W2 Only (No C2C, No Third Party, No 1099, No Recruiters or Consulting Firm Candidate Solicitations for W2 or third-party resources)Compensation StatementDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location, and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.As required by local law in geographies that mandate salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes that the salary range for this role is stated within this posting.
