RoleAs a Cost Seg Accountant at Remote Cost Seg, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our studies meet U. S. tax law and IRS compliance standards. After our engineering team produces the work, you will review it for accuracy and compliance, collaborate with other accountants, and address tax considerations for our clients’ projects. Your expertise will ensure our studies are built on accurate, detailed assessments of property construction—from the initial groundwork to the finishing touches that lead to occupancy.
Are you experienced with accounting in the real estate field? This is for you!Knowledge of tax and cost segregation is a bonus, but not required. Your understanding of construction and accelerated depreciation will be a bonus as well. What You'll Do: Project Review: Review completed studies to confirm all classifications comply with the U. S. tax code and IRS Cost Seg Audit Guide (training will be provided). Pre-Review: Review client/property details before engineering begins to guide the project accurately. Classify:
