Do you have strong health service administration skills and thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment?Join the Royal Flying Doctor Service – Western Operations (RFDS WO) as a Remote Primary Health Care Coordinator and play a pivotal role in supporting our multidisciplinary teams to deliver essential general practice and nursing services across the state. About The RoleThis is a coordination role responsible for supporting the operational and administrative delivery of our remote health clinics.

You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, and leadership teams to enable smooth clinical workflows, ensure Medicare compliance, and manage logistics such as appointment scheduling, equipment, and consumables. You'll be instrumental in enhancing care continuity, patient engagement, and service efficiency for communities that need it most. Please note: This role involves regular travel to regional sites.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate clinical follow-up tasks, patient recalls, and proactive care outreach Manage clinician rosters, inboxes, and clinic schedules Oversee stock control and procurement of clinical supplies Ensure compliance with Medicare billing, including MBS items Support data collection, reporting, and patient experience feedback Act as the go-to contact for remote teams requiring coordination and support Contribute to service improvement projects and SharePoint resource managementWhat We’re Looking ForEssential Experience in health service administration, ideally in primary care or remote settings Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and general practice operations Familiarity with practice management systems (e. g.

MMEx, Communicare, Best Practice) Excellent organisational and time management skills High attention to detail and a proactive problem solver Collaborative and supportive communication style Culturally aware and committed to person-centred careDesirable Experience working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations Understanding of Medicare billing processes and chronic disease management plans Knowledge of inventory and logistics in clinical settingsBenefits Permanent, full-time role Salary packaging – up to $15,900 p. a. for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 p. a.
