You will assist our customers through supporting the renewal and development of our growing subscription base, you will have the opportunity to develop your sales skills in while playing a critical role in driving growth and innovation.About YouBachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience within life science or pharmaceutical industryGood motivation to a consultative sales role.Proficient in both spoken and written Japanese.Strong written English skills are mandatory.Basic communication skills in English are required.It would be great if you also have . . . Prior experience with selling subscriptions both renewal sales and new businessDirect sales experience in LS software productsDemonstrated ability to understand customer workflows and priorities to assist with cross-sellingEducation background related to pharmaceuticalWhat will you be doing in this role? Own the 12-month process of the subscription life cycle inclusive on onboarding, quarterly account reviews, budgeting and renewal negotiation inclusive on contract executionGrow new business subscriptions through managing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities during or at the point of renewalContinually identify directional risk in your subscription book of business and implement risk mitigation plans in conjunction with matrix of internal resources inclusive of product owners, solution experts, account manager and trainings teams.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success Managers (CSM), Billing, Legal, and Customer Care & etc, to ensure a seamless and efficient renewal process..Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage renewal activities & track client interactions.Provide accurate weekly forecasts for territory total subscription business.Minimum travel is require for customer visit on site.Hours of Work This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours from 9:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed. This is a hybrid position working in the office up to 2 to 3 days a week.
