They are responsible on a daily basis for researching the criminal backgrounds that are requested by our clients. They will build relationships with the court and county clerks, Department of Corrections, Department of Probation and district attorney’s offices in order to obtain the proper background information. This is a vital role within Cisive and a pivotal role for our clients as the information we obtain allows our clients to make the best hiring decisions. The candidate must be willing to WORK ONSITE in Quezon City, following a NIGHT SHIFT schedule. Responsibilities: Review and analyze documentation provided by vendorsGauge the estimated time of completion for a criminal record investigationAbility to learn and apply the state and federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) rules to meet client specificationsContact external parties to inquire or request court information or request additional informationInput related notes into the system for review and approval by leadershipConduct necessary research to obtain documents related to individual casesQualifications: Graduate of any 2-year or 4-year course, preferred; or has at least completed 2 years of collegeCriminal Justice degree preferred but not requiredSimilar experience within the background industry preferredPrior internships or 1-3 years’ prior work experience within a law firm, court system, county/state police or sheriff’s department preferredKnowledge of court dockets and the ability to understand legal terminology preferredExperience reading and interpreting court documents preferredStrong attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to navigate the internet for research activities
