Research and Solution Engineer (Hybrid)

This role blends technical support, infrastructure design, and cutting-edge research to deliver high-performance solutions across our retail network. What You’ll Be Doing:- Restore service failures (Corporate: <4hrs, Retail: <24hrs)- Design and implement FTTH monitoring applications to improve fault recovery- Conduct preventive maintenance and optimize network uptime- Research and implement new technologies to enhance ipNX products- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions- Prepare and maintain network documentation, MOPs, and performance reports- Provide technical support across provisioning, installation, and surveillanceWhat You Bring:- BEng in Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics, or related IT field (2.2/Upper Credit minimum)- 3+ years experience in FTTH, OSP/ISP fiber infrastructure, and network support- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (AWS, CISSP, CCDP, CCIE are a plus)- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN design, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, RIP), and core network device configuration- Experience with CAD, GIS, DWDM, and network monitoring tools- Proven ability to present technical concepts and manage stakeholder expectations You’re Someone Who Is:- Analytical, innovative, and results-driven- Customer-focused with strong communication skills- Resilient, accountable, and action-oriented- Comfortable with emerging technologies and cloud infrastructure- Skilled in pre-sales and post-sales engineering support- A natural collaborator and team builder📍 Location: Lagos 🕒 Schedule: Weekdays, 8am–5pm ✈️ Travel: Occasionally👉 Ready to engineer the future of connectivity?
