We offer a part-time position (50%, 20 hours per week) for an initial period of three years.The Chair focuses on the law of international institutions and courts, current developments in the international legal order, ius ad bellum/ius in bello, international legal theory, arms control, constitutional law of the European Union and EU external relations law, European democracy, German foreign relations and defense law, as well as constitutional theory. The position will focus on research and teaching in these areas. As the Chair has newly been filled and renamed, this is the chance to be part of this formative phase and contribute to a vibrant and motivated team with an international outlook. The position offers the opportunity to work on your own qualification project (e.g. doctorate, post-doctorate).Your responsibilities:Independent teaching of courses (especially courses)Correction and examination activitiesResearch and teaching within the thematic scope of the Chair (2 hours per week each semester)Possible support for the Philip C.
