Under the immediate supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will ensure effective management and analysis of the team’s data collection.General DutiesUnder the supervision of Dr. Abhinav Sharma, the incumbent will perform the following tasks: Conducts statistical analysis for the different projects of the research team, Supports the research team in the use of appropriate statistical methods, Prepares statistical reports on the quality of the harmonized data, Participates in the redaction of scientific papers and reports.Website of the organizationhttps://rimuhc.ca/enEducation / ExperienceEducation: Doctorate DegreeField of Study: Biostatistics, bioinformatics, computational biology.Work Experience: 1 yearProfessional Membership: ☐ Yes ☒ NoOther Requirements Proficiency in using R statistical software (and other statistical software), Familiarity with data analysis relating to proteomic data sets would be an asset, Experience in harmonizing, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple datasets would be an asset, Conversant with co-analysis methods (e.g. meta-analysis, integrative data analysis, pooled analysis, etc.) would be an asset, Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, Good organization skills, time management skills and ability to prioritize, Experience in writing scientific papers or reports and communication of research results, Experience with REDCap and/or r-language would be desirable.Additional informationStatus: Temporary Part-Time, 18-25 hours per weekPay Scale: $27.32 - $50.74/hour.
