Our team provides research support to all Roland Berger offices globally. As Financial Analyst you will support consulting teams with research of financial data and in-depth financial analysis as well as market assessments for various industry to support Transactions (M&A), Corporate Performance, and Pricing projects. Besides conducting information searches and analyses, you will carry out short-term project tasks and support internal studies.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting company, market, and industry research and analysis to identify relevant drivers and trendsEvaluating companies and business models across various industries through financial analysisPerforming information searches and analyze quantitative and qualitative dataCalculating key financial indicators, metrics, and benchmarks, and conduct complex financial analysesUtilizing professional databases, especially financial databases, eg. Bloomberg, CapIQ, MoodysSupporting internal studies and product developmentContributing to internal knowledge managementQualificationsOutstanding business economics degree from a university or international business schoolFirst professional experience in Corporate Finance or M&A, e.g., at auditing firms, investment banks, financial investors, or consulting companiesExcellent analytical and conceptual skills, strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, and a high level of service orientation and flexibilityProficiency in MS Office and professional financial databases like CapIQ, Moodys, Bloomberg etc.;Structured and goal-oriented working style, with friendly and open communicationExcellent oral and written communication skills in English and Romanian, additional language skills in German and / or French are desirable
