Our mission is to support biotechs, pharmaceutical laboratories, and leading cosmetic brands in discovering new drug candidates and validating their product claims through cutting-edge research and testing solutions.Job DescriptionIn our warm and welcoming company, you will be assigned with these main tasks:The main responsibility of this post is to provide technical support to complete projects undertaken at the lab under the supervision of the Project Officer in charge.The Tasks Required To Be Undertaken IncludeHair follicle and skin organ cultureFixation and embedding of tissueCryo and paraffin sectionsPerforming various immunohistochemical stains and molecular biology techniquesUse of immunofluorescence and light microscopyTaking images and performing image analysis, using various programs (e.g. BZ-Analyzer, BZ viewer and ImageJ)General organization of the lab including forward planning regarding equipment and materials required, overseeing and maintaining stock of media, chemical and other consumables.Participating in scientific lab meetings and the organization of workshopsQualificationsCompleted training as a Medical / Biological-technical assistant or an honours bachelor degree in a relevant subjectGood knowledge in immunohistochemistry and routine histologyGood knowledge of Computer Skills and Microsoft OfficeExperience in biological research laboratories and with laboratory techniquesSound knowledge of English (Company language: English)Candidates with documented know-how and experience in skin and/or hair research will be preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsGood coordination, time management, data collection and analysisFlexibilityAdditional InformationWhat we offer:A temporary contract with the possibility of extension and eventually unlimited contractIncorporation in a young and dynamic corporate environmentExcellent learning and development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledgeA dynamic and inclusive work environment with diverse and passionate colleaguesA company culture that values respect, diversity, and social responsibility Company bonus packageAdvanced technology in a modern workplace Flexible working hoursTeam building activities, company outings, and parties to build camaraderie
