With this in mind, we seek to appoint an Individual Reservationist who meets the below criteria:Job DescriptionHandles all incoming calls for accommodation, respond to all enquiries in a timely mannerResolves issues with guest in best possible way, bearing in mind the interest of the hotel and the guestMaintain up to date knowledge on sales strategies, rates, products, packages, facilities and inventory at all timesSell our products and services to meet guests needs in line with our concepts, with a focus on hotel profitFollow up on no-shows, commissions and loyalty programsBuilds and maintains strong working relationships with entire hotel focusing on Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Sales and/or Meeting & Events and F&B. QualificationsIn order to be successful, the candidate needs to possess:At least 1-2 years Reservations experience in a 4/5 star hotelExcellent communication skillsComputer literacy is essential, with experience in using PMS - EMMA/OperaExcellent time management and organisational skills as well as accept a flexible work schedule when necessaryThe ability to use own initiative and work in a pressurised environmentExcellent team player skillsFluency in English, both written and oralExcellent telephone manner and a clear voiceHigh levels of motivation, enthusiasm and be innovative
