Whether you're attending an event or simply seeking a comfortable base in Limerick, our facilities provide a welcoming and well-equipped environment.About the jobThis is a dynamic opportunity to join a fast-paced team supporting our steady growth of summer leisure stays and events at the University of Limerick. As Reservations Assistant, you will play a central role in coordinating bookings for accommodation, meeting spaces, sports facilities and events.The role involves direct client communication, administrative support and collaboration across departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Flexibility to support other business areas (Academic and New Markets) may be required based on operational needs.Key Responsibilities·      Administrative Support: Manage reservations, contracts and payments using multiple systems while following financial and office procedures.·      Customer Service: Provide customer focused, timely assistance to clients and visitors, handling queries and feedback professionally.·      Event and Booking Coordination: Process reservations for accommodation, meeting rooms, and sports facilities via phone, email and online platforms.·      Delegate Support: Respond to registration and payment queries, issue confirmations and receipts and maintain accurate records.·      Reporting and Follow-Up: Prepare weekly reports and ensure timely processing of booking documentation.Requirements and Qualifications·      Previous proven experience in hospitality, customer service or administration·      Experience working within a team environment·      Proficient in MS Office, confidence using reservation or booking systems and comfortable with IT software·      Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, time management and multitasking skills·      Experience in an event or conference setting is an advantageUniversity of Limerick Conference and Events is proud to support a diverse and inclusive working environment.Applications close 2nd November, 2025.
