Resident Architect (Jurong)

With the trust of our clients, we have been awarded two exclusive projects - one based in Punggol and another based in Jurong therefore we are seeking a Resident Architect for Punggol and another Resident Architect for Jurong to be the overall in charge of the management of these works.Job SummaryStrong technical skills, able to review design details, method statements and use sound judgment to resolve site issues during the course of construction works;Good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work as a team player;Review all project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project;Monitor contractors’ schedules, day works, site progress, etcCheck shop and construction drawings, samples, etc. submitted by contractors and their sub-contractors / suppliers / vendors and to report any discrepancies between these and the project drawings and specifications.Job RequirementsDegree in Architecture or accreditation with Professional bodies of equivalent standing as Board of Architects, Singapore; andPossess at least 10 years of working experience and site supervision of building works, architectural elements and finishing works.Overall in charge of the management and control of all Site Supervisors,Provide leadership and administrative control of the other Site Supervisors, institute and maintain discipline, punctuality, keep daily recordsConversant with local building codes and regulations, authority requirements and practices;At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
