Resident Technical Officer (M&E)

Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under BCASupervise timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructionsCheck all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with approved plans for discrepancies and report to OICcheck on quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to OIC on any materials not conforming to specificationsprepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectifiedSupervise works to comply with statutory requirements and specificationsEnsure that structural elements or critical works are being carried out in accordance with approved plansAttend site, progress, variation, QAQC and coordination meetings and to keep proper minutes of these meetingsHelp resolve main contractors' queries and coordinate the works with other contractorsInspect and assist with handing/taking over of completed works by other contractsEnsure that proper and updated records of all works are keptCarry out coordination of all building and M&E ServicesWorking with the safety team, ensure that safety on site maintains at a maximum levelAny other adhoc dutiesCriteriaRTO-M&E shall possess a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a Polytechnic or equivalent;Min 5 years of relevant experience as RTO (M&E), of which at least 2 years shall be involved in the supervision of airfield systems, utilities, fuel hydrant, building services, and security systems;Shift work, including night shift.Have a valid 2025 RTO Certification accredited by IES#01
