Job DescriptionMeets at least bi-weekly with assigned students. Provide individual and group orientations on social skills and crisis intervention. Notes individual meetings with students address issues, express plan to resolve problems. Notifies other staff to coordinate services by memo, phone, or personal conversation. These actions are documented in student folder.

Actively participates in events, demonstrating professional behaviors for students and modeling employment skills. Assignments are completed within time frames and rarely need correction. Student’s data is accurate and submitted with established time frames. Student’s folders present and up-to-date history of the services provided to ensure the student is successful in the attainment of both long and short-term goals. Both medical and UA removal logs indicate all procedures have been followed within established time frames. Regular entries are made in Dorm logs indicating conditions of dorms during rounds.

Ensures each dormitory deliver quality services to ensure that a three percent Worker to Resident will be maintained. Ensures Recreation/Leisure Learning delivers quality services to students to ensure that all established goals are being met. Ensure level one and two offenses on dorms and in recreation area maintain goal of 10% - Provides for a reduction of serious incidents during evening program hours. Increases number of students involved in Recreation/Leisure Learning and Leisure Time Employment. Increases opportunities by (10%) for students to lead project-based teams during event hours.

Conducts analysis of all relevant documents to determine whether dorms and teams are meeting goals. Analyzes other data to determine where problems may exist and resolves them. Institutes and submits corrective actions for improvement in quality service in all areas. Ensures that all equipment assigned to departments is properly accounted for and maintained in good condition. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Social Work or related field and a minimum of 15 credits in the Social Services discipline.

A minimum of one year of related experience in counseling or a related field is required. Previous experience in a management or supervisory role is preferred. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Bilingual is preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Work as part of a team and under minimal supervision.
