Job Description:Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading global brokerage to hire an Analyst for its FID Secured Lending – Residential Mortgage Lending Asset Management team, based in New York, NY.The FID Secured Lending (FSL) group provides asset-backed financing facilities to both asset originators and financial sponsors. The team manages a diversified portfolio backed by private credit, corporate and leveraged loans, residential and commercial mortgages, consumer loans, and other asset classes across the U.S., Europe, and APAC.This role will focus on the residential mortgage lending portfolio, providing financing across agency and non-agency residential mortgage loans and single-family rental assets.Responsibilities:Analyze and track borrower servicing reports and collateral performance.Oversee ongoing client requests for funding and amendments to lending facilities.Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting.Conduct market and asset-level research to support credit and investment decisions.Support senior asset managers with borrower requests and ongoing portfolio oversight.Monitor key industry trends and risk indicators relevant to residential mortgage assets.Qualifications:1–3 years of experience in residential mortgage or structured finance (RMBS/ABS/CMBS).Experience from a rating agency, bank, or asset management firm strongly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Excellent data management and analysis skills (Excel, pivot tables, database tools).Strong PowerPoint and presentation-building skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.Proactive, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
