We are committed to offering cost-effective, ROI-focused strategies that help businesses remain competitive in today’s evolving market.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore for a Retail Accountant (Odoo ERP).The Retail Accountant will manage the financial and operational accounting functions for both retail and online business units, ensuring accurate reporting and daily transaction control through Odoo ERP. The role involves overseeing daily cash management, POS reconciliation, inventory transfers, and vendor/store/shop transactions while maintaining tight control over records and staff accountability.The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with sales, operations, and inventory teams to ensure smooth financial operations across all retail and e-commerce touchpoints.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations using Odoo ERP, including journal entries, receipts, payments, and reconciliations.Supervise cash handling, bank deposits, and POS opening and closing balances across all stores.Monitor daily sales records, online order transactions, and integration between POS and accounting modules.Track inventory movement from vendors to stores and stores to shops, ensuring accurate barcode tracking and reconciliation.Manage and lead a team of two inventory staff responsible for store transfers, barcode management, and physical stock verification.Maintain accurate financial documentation and assist in monthly and quarterly closing activities.Generate and analyze financial reports for management on sales, expenses, and profitability.Support audit and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal financial controls and accounting standards.Collaborate with operations and management to improve workflow efficiency and reduce reconciliation gaps.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.2–4 years of accounting experience in retail or e-commerce sectors (experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory).Strong command of POS accounting, cash flow management, and inventory costing principles.Proven ability to reconcile daily cash and bank balances with sales and inventory data.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting dashboards.Good communication skills to coordinate across finance, operations, and store teams.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in multi-location retail operations or omnichannel (store + online) businesses.Familiarity with Odoo Accounting, Inventory, and POS modules.Exposure to e-commerce payment gateways and bank reconciliation
