You will oversee a portfolio of leading retail and brand clients across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring world-class creative and operational excellence across all channels — from in-store to integrated campaign activations.You will lead a team responsible for delivering impactful, insight-driven retail campaigns, ensuring all work aligns with client business objectives, consumer behavior, and the evolving retail landscape. The development focus for this role is to deepen your involvement in overall business strategy — shaping how we integrate creative, production, and retail experience capabilities to deliver end-to-end solutions that drive measurable growth.You will work closely with the regional leadership team to elevate client partnerships, foster a high-performance culture, and contribute to the commercial success and strategic evolution of the retail business.Key Responsibilities:Act as the senior agency partner and key point of escalation for all retail and brand client relationships.Lead and inspire account teams to deliver exceptional retail and shopper marketing campaigns aligned with strategic and commercial priorities.Serve as a brand and retail guardian, ensuring every campaign enhances brand presence and drives in-store engagement.Identify and convert opportunities for organic client growth across multiple retail and product categories.Lead client planning sessions, quarterly business reviews, and feedback discussions to shape future strategic direction.Confidently articulate the full retail and creative service offering, including design, production, shopper strategy, and digital activation.Maintain strong commercial oversight, managing budgets, profitability, and client growth plans across the portfolio.Oversee the delivery of complex, multi-channel retail campaigns with operational excellence and measurable outcomes.Lead and coach a high-performing team, ensuring development plans are in place and best practice processes are followed across every project.Drive strategic priorities and growth initiatives across key retail accounts in collaboration with regional leadership.Support the commercial success of each client partnership through proactive problem-solving and escalation management.Build a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the account and delivery teams.Partner closely with creative, retail design, and production teams to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.Lead innovation within retail marketing, identifying opportunities to enhance the shopper experience and optimise campaign performance.Confidently lead performance and financial reporting to regional leadership teams.Mentor and develop emerging leaders within the retail account management team.Stay ahead of retail trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies to inform strategic recommendations and client growth.This job description outlines the duties and responsibilities of the role and the necessary skills and knowledge required to perform them as of the date it was created.
