PositionReports To : Retail Director, Japan - functional report to HQ Retail OperationLocation : JapanSummaryRIMOWA is looking for Retail Operations/Performance Manager who will be in charge ofEasing store daily operations in the front and back officeOverseeing retail teams in store to ensure compliance of operations in IT systems (CEGID, tax free, etc)Ensuring full compliance with local legal regulations and retail store hand bookReducing time spent by store managers on administrative requirementsOptimizing process-efficiencies and improve the customer experienceResponsibilitiesJob responsibilitiesEssential Duties And Responsibilities– Develops and maintains operational plans to include all business requirements which include KPI analysis and reporting to HQs, and meeting financial objectivesMonitor and analyze retail performance KPIs (sales, traffic, CVR, UPT, ATV, FTE productivity), and provide regular reporting to HQ and local management Ensure balance between operational efficiency and sales performance, enhancing both store productivity and client experience–Develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding both internal and external business metrics– Develop and/or maintain all retail processes, policies, and procedures– Responsible for inventory management, bi-annual inventory count and inventory movement in the POS system–Coordinate project development and management with following other departments : IT, internal control, finance and e-commerce teams– Develop Retail Guideline and operation manuals for stores: service description, integration in sales ceremony, examples of sales scenario, system process– Responsible for financial analysis of the operational expenses.Plan and implement of store staff incentive plans– Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations– Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environments– Liaise and coordinate with HQs on retail operationsProfileQualifications/Profile6+ years of experience in retail project management, with ideally a store experience of minimum 2 yearsExperience in leading performance-driven initiatives in collaboration with retail leadership teamsProject management, time management, organizational and analytical communication skillsAgility in using retail IT systems, in particular proficiency in CEGIDStrong customer focus, able to adapt communication to different levels of business partners in retail network (regional managers, store managers, stock specialists, client care managers etc…)Ability to develop training content and train non expert users on IT systemsImplement a collaborative approach to project work whilst still able to work autonomously on multiple projects at anyFamiliarity with CRM strategies and clienteling best practices in luxury retail is a strong plus one timeLanguages: Proficiency in Japanese and Business level Eng
